Pop singer Remo Fernandes may have quit the Aam Aadmi Party after he felt that politics was affecting his music, but he is doing his bit to promote the party’s candidates before Goa goes to the polls on Saturday. In the last leg of the campaign, he has come up with a catchy new jingle in Konkani ‘Zhaddu Maariya’ (let us sweep clean with a broom). “We have already been playing this at our motor rallies and corner meetings, where it has received overwhelming response,” says AAP Goa leader Valmiki Naik.
