Rajasthan Govt transfers 48 IAS officers

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Rajasthan Government has transferred 48 IAS officers, including the home secretary and four divisional commissioners.

Home Secretary Pradeep Sen has been shifted to Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) as MD. P K Dev, who was MD, RSRTC, will take charge as Additional Chief Secretary (Home, Civil Defence, Jail departments), an official announcement last night said.

Preetam Singh, Divisional Commissioner, Bikaner, has been transferred to Kota as DC. He will replace P L Agrawal who has been transferred to Finance department as Director Budget.

Agrawal would be replacing Suresh Chand Dinkar, who has been made Karauli District Collector in place of Neeraj K Pawan who would be now Pali District Collector.

While Pali District Collector Prathviraj has been transferred as Bikaner Collector, Surajmal Meena (Secretary, Revenue) has been made DC Bikaner.

Kiran Soni Gupta, who was DC-Jaipur has been shifted to the Secretariat as Principal Secretary- General Administration department. Rajendra Prasad Jain (CEO-Jaipur Municipal Corporation) would replace her.

Madhukar Gupta (DC-Bharatpur) has been made Commissioner of Social Justice department and will replace Prem Singh Mehra.

Naveen Mahajan (Jodhpur collector) will replace Kuldeep Ranka as Jaipur collector.Ranka has been shifted to Jaipur Vidhut vitran Nigam Limited (Jaipur Discom) as MD while Siddharth Mahajan (Sawaimadhopur Collector) has been shifted to Jodhpur as Collector.

Other IAS officers who have been transferred are - Asha Singh, C M Meena, Tapesh Kumar, Rohit Brandon, Rakesh Verma, Ramkhiladi Meena, B K Meen, O P Saini, Ajeet Kumar Singh, Seem Bahuguna, Mukesh Kumar Sharma, Manjeet Singh, Rajeshwar Singh, Rohit Kumar Singh, Akhil Arora, Shreya Guha, Subir Kumar, Vikas Bhale, Mugdha Singh, Ashutosh A T, Krishna Kunal, Bhanu Prakash, Ravi Kumar, Joga Ram, P Ramesh, R S Jhakar, Girraj Singh Kushwaha and Harsahay Meena.

Official sources described the transfers as routine ones.

Besides the IAS officers, RAS officer Ramnivas Meena and Lal Chand Aswal have also been transferred.
