Citing how the application of technology was evident when Lord Ram built a bridge across the sea and Lord Hanuman brought the “ sanjeevni booti (herb)”, Punjab Governor V.P. Singh Badnore on Friday asked young scientists to enhance innovation and knowledge sharing. Mr. Badnore also noted that “many advanced weapons were used at that time.”

Mr. Badnore was speaking at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) in Mohali, while commemorating the anniversary of the Pokhran Nuclear Test held on May 11, 1998. “Take the lead to make India achieve the top position in the world,” he urged faculty and students.
