Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal was on Wednesday sacked from the Shiromani Akali Dal- Bharatiya Janata Party ministry headed by his uncle Parkash Singh Badal following differences with the ruling alliance over the reported debt waiver offer from the Centre.
An official statement said he has been “dropped” as Finance Minister .
The statement said after Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal's suspension from the party, his continuance as a member of the Council of Ministers had become “constitutionally, morally and politically untenable.”
