Ms. Gandhi’s first stop was Ghurai village in Khiro block. She asked the chairmen of gram sabhas about the implementation of the MNREGA, Indira Awas Yojana, and the availability of water and electricity. Ms. Vadra also spent time with villagers in the Khiro block, Congress sources said.
On Monday, Ms. Vadra also met the villagers of Saguni, Hardi, Khushti and Chak Gajraj Kherha and asked for information about the progress of the Centre’s programmes in the district.
