President to perform Durga Puja at his ancestral home

In keeping with his practice, President Pranab Mukherjee will perform Durga Puja at his ancestral home in Miriti in West Bengal’s Birbhum district.

Mr. Mukherjee will reach his home on ‘Maha Shashti’ on October 20, the first day of the Puja. He will perform the Puja from October 20 to October 23.

He will return to the capital on October 23.
