President conveys condolences to storm victims’ families

President Pratibha Patil on Friday conveyed her condolences to the members of bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to those who were injured in Tuesday night’s devastating storm in Bihar’s Seemanchal belt.

“I am sorry to learn about the catastrophic thunderstorm that has brought heavy damage to the people of the State and has also caused loss of lives and injury,” Patil, who is in Gangtok, said in her message to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

“I am sure that the State government is rendering necessary assistance to the affected people of the State,” she said.
