Paswan to assess crop damage in Chandigarh

A delegation led by Union Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan will visit Chandigarh tomorrow to take stock of crops damaged by untimely rains and hailstorms in Haryana. Union Minister of State for Agriculture Sanjeev Kumar Balyan will also be a part of the delegation, a spokesperson of Haryana Agriculture Department said on Monday.

The team would meet Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and interact with the ministers and senior officers concerned of Revenue and Disaster Management, Power, Development and Panchayats, Agriculture, Cooperation, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Food and Supplies, Irrigation and other departments, he said. - PTI
