The Additional Sessions and Fast Track Court here on Saturday posted for April 11 its order on the application of Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal, who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman journalist, in which he requested copies of all evidences contained in the Goa police Crime Branch’s charge sheet against him.

The court is likely to give, on April 2, its order on Mr. Tejpal’s application requesting permission to visit his ailing mother at his house in Moira, north Goa, once a week. Both these applications came up for hearing in the Fast Track Court on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Tejpal’s lawyers withdrew his anticipatory bail petition, filed before the District and Sessions Court at Margao, in connection with the seizing of a mobile phone from his jail cell.
