Confederation of Indian Industry, in association with Goa University, is launching an online survey to obtain feedback from its alumni to record their career path.

Dr. Satish Shetye, Vice Chancellor, Goa University, said that the survey seeks to identify how they are seeking jobs, pursuing higher studies or holding a job. The survey will track the time taken to get the first job, the remuneration, responsibilities and organisation they joined.

“We seek information on job location to provide data to the policy makers about out-migration for jobs,” he said on Monday. The alumnus can provide inputs on the three subjects that he/she learnt that helped her career, three subjects that should have been covered extensively and would help in the career and three subjects that did not benefit the career and could be dropped.

This would give relevant inputs to the University’s Board of Studies in framing the syllabus to make it more relevant, he said.
