On exam day, varsity left red-faced

April 13, 2017 10:38 pm | Updated 10:38 pm IST - Bhagalpur (Bihar)

Ninety-four students of the Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) who turned up for the post-graduation exams in Hindi on Thursday were dismayed to learn that the question papers had not arrived.

It was the last paper of the second semester post-graduation Hindi exam. The question paper had apparently not been printed.

The Vice-Chancellor of TMBU Nalini Kant Jha has served show cause notices on the officer in charge of PG Hindi and section officer in the Office of the Controller of Examinations. The two have been asked to reply to the notices by Friday, after which suitable action would be initiated, the V-C told PTI.

The VC said the exam has now been fixed for April 22.
