Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday said there was no need to review the security apparatus in place at casinos in the State following one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history.

At least 59 people were killed on Sunday when a gunman unleashed a hail of bullets on an outdoor music festival from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Mr. Parrikar said the massacre occured because guns are “available very easily” in Las Vegas.

The State has five operational off-shore casinos on Mandovi river and 10 operate from hotels.
