Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari on Sunday said there were no differences between his party and saffron alliance partner Shiv Sena over seat—sharing in the forthcoming assembly elections in the state.
Releasing BJP’s ‘Vision Document’ for Maharashtra, Gadkari said there were no compromises in seat sharing between the “Yuti” (Shiv Sena—BJP alliance) as the only criteria applied for the process was competence of the candidate to win the election.
He said if the saffron alliance came to power it would make the state self—sufficient in electricity generation within three years and do away with load—shedding.
To boost status of Marathi language, the ‘Yuti government’ would also appoint a cabinet minister who would ensure greater use of it in all walks, he added.
