Making a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, RJD President Lalu Prasad on Saturday said Kumar’s opposition to Narendra Modi was merely an “eye wash”.

“Nitish, Modi and BJP are integrally one... Nitish is making fool of people by making public statements against Modi,” Mr. Prasad told a public meeting in Madhepura.

In a hard-hitting attack on BJP, the RJD chief said it does not belief in any religion or faith. “They have only one aim how to capture power at the centre,” he said.

“They (BJP) are trying to create communal disharmony in the society by making ‘wild remarks’ against Pakistan”, he said adding the people have realised the truth about them and so the party cannot take them for a ride anymore.

He said Nitish Kumar’s claim of good law and order and development in Bihar was not true as reflected by the rise in cases of rape of minors in the state.
