After his initiative to improve the industrial climate in Bihar by toning up law and order, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday flagged off ‘Nirbhay Rath’ to woo entrepreneurs.

The Rath will criss-cross the State to create awareness among the business community about the changing atmosphere and scenario in the state.

The State government has taken a number of initiatives during the past four years to remove the fear of criminals and gangsters from the minds of the people and “the atmosphere has changed making the State more conducive for promoting business and trade,” Kumar said.

He said the State government had succeeded to a great extent in establishing the rule of law and speedy trials were taking place in cases of criminal offences, including kidnapping for ransom and contract murder.

The ‘Nirbhay Rath’ would be able to educate the business and trade community about the infrastructural growth that took place in Bihar, Kumar said.
