Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday expressed profound shock and grief at the demise of former Union Minister and senior CPI leader Chaturanan Mishra.
“It is a great loss not only to the State but also nation,” Mr. Kumar said in his condolence message.
“In his death we lost a great freedom fighter and political activist,” he said.
Mr. Mishra died following prolonged illness at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where he was undergoing treatment for quite some time.
