Nine people were feared dead and two more critically injured when a container collided with a jeep on the Satara Highway late Monday. The incident took place on the Khambatki ghat on the highway.
Highway police stated that the container lost control and crashed with a Cruiser Trax around 10.30 p.m. The driver of the container was killed on the spot. Two more are feared to be critical.
