Naveen to take oath as Odisha chief minister on Wednesday

Odisha Raj Bhavan is all set to conduct the swearing-in ceremony of the new council of ministers under the leadership of Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday, a Governor’s Secretariat release said.

“The swearing-in ceremony of the new council of ministers led by Sri Naveen Patnaik will be held on May 21 at 10.10am in the Raj Bhavan premises, Bhubaneswar,” it said.

Adequate security arrangements in and around the Governor House has been made, Commissioner of police R.P. Sharma said.

With a large turnout of people expected to witness the oath taking ceremony, LED screens have been installed outside the Raj Bhawan.

Governor Dr SC Jamir would administer the oath of office and secrecy to Patnaik at Raj Bhawan.
