Noted Economist and member of the Planning Commission Narendra Jadhav was honoured with the prestigious Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Smruti Puraskar here.
Instituted by Marwadi foundation, the award was presented to Mr. Jadhav by Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at a function held here on Sunday evening at Natyagriha.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh, a memento and citation.
Foundation Chairperson Girish Gandhi and other prominent personalities also attended the function.
