Najma adopts M.P. village for development

Union Minister for Minority Affairs Najma Heptulla has chosen a village near Bhopal for development under the Centre’s recently introduced scheme of Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.

Ms. Heptullah will visit Bhopal on November 20 to formalise the adoption of Phanda village, about 35 km from the city, according to a statement issued by her office. Under the scheme, the Member of Parliament would have to make their chosen village a model one by 2016.
