Museum of modern art to come up in Kolkata

Modern art is a creative activity “the beginning of which we are aware of but we do not know where it will end… where the brush speaks for itself,” said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee here on Thursday.

She was speaking before laying the foundation stone for the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art (KMOMA) in the New Town, Rajarhat area. Once completed, the KMOMA building would comprise 44 galleries.
