Minor explosion in Kolhapur leaves two injured

A minor explosion took place at a chinese stall near Shahu toll plaza in Kolhapur district in Maharashtra on late Saturday evening.

According to the police the explosion left two people injured including the stall owner . The two were rushed to a local hospital and were administered medical aid.

The police have recovered gelatin sheets and sand from the spot where the explosion took place. The samples have been sent for forensic analysis.

The police suspect that it was a crude bomb but investigation are still underway to ascertain the cause of the explosion.
