Maoists kidnap four farmers in Bihar

Suspected Maoists have abducted four farmers from Pararya village in Chutiya police station area of Bihar’s Rohtas district, the police said today.

Over 40 armed Maoists raided the village late last night and took four farmers to an unknown place at gunpoint, the police said.

The farmers were identified as Vibhishan Tiwari, Jaidurak Tiwari, Dhiraj Tiwari and Rajgrih Tiwari.

Raids were on in the area to secure release of farmers and apprehend the ultras, sources said.
