North Bihar Central Zone secretary of banned CPI (Maoist) Jogi Singh and armed squad member, O P Yadav were arrested by Special Task Force of Bihar police in Khagaria district today, Director General of Police Neelmani said.
Acting on a tip-off, STF personnel carried out raids and captured the Maoist zonal secretary Yogi Singh, who was carrying a cash reward of Rs 25,000/-on his head, Mr. Neelmani said.
O P Yadav, an armed squad member of the ultra left outfit, was also arrested during the operation.
The STF personnel later handed them over to Khagaria police, he said.
