A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death, possibly by robbers, in Central Delhi’s Karol Bagh early on Saturday.

Police said they were scanning CCTV cameras near the crime spot to identify the killers. The victim, Uday Bhan, was a native of Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district. He did odd jobs in the Capital and lived with his elder brother in East Delhi.

According to the police, the brothers had quarrelled on Friday night, following which Uday left in a fit of rage. He is learnt to have boarded an autorickshaw for Kishanganj railway station, from where he was to take a train to his hometown. It is yet to be ascertained why he was in Karol Bagh around 2 a.m.

A security guard at a jewellery shop, who had heard Uday’s cries, found him lying in a pool of blood with his wallet and mobile phone missing.
