The Goa police on Saturday arrested a 34-year-old man on the charge of repeatedly raping his 10-year-old daughter and filming it on his mobile phone.
The victim, in her complaint to the Women's Police station here stated that her father raped her several times over the last few years and on many occasions also filmed the act and later showed it to her, the police said.
The person hails from Kolkata and is currently residing in a rented room at Nanora, Assonora in north Goa. He is a contractor involved in construction works.
The FIR was lodged by the police against the father after the intervention of a local women’s collective Bailancho Saad. The accused has two daughters. He has taken both the daughters to another place, where he allegedly raped the elder daughter and sexually abused the younger daughter.
