Mamata sets off on her north Bengal visit

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is set to begin her official visit to North Bengal from Monday, stated the official website of the Trinamool Congress.

She is expected to chair administrative meetings in the newly created Alipurduar district as well as inaugurate the new administrative building of the district on Wednesday.

 Expected to reach Suntalekhola in Kalimpong in Darjeeling district later on Wednesday, the Chief Minister is expected to chair an administrative meeting at Dimdima at Birpara in the Doors section of Alipurduar and also at Madarihat in the district. She will also address a public meeting at Ethelbari in the Dooars region, from where she will be distributing grants and benefits.

 During her stay at North Bengal, Ms. Banerjee will also inaugurate several projects and lay foundation stones of some projects. She is also scheduled to distribute cycles to tribal girl students and distribute several other grants and benefits.
