The Mamata Banerjee government completed three years in office on Tuesday.

Trinamool Congress chairperson and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee thanked the people of West Bengal on this occasion, while seizing the opportunity to thank the people for “once again reposing their trust and confidence on us through their huge mandate” in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election.

“History repeats itself,” she wrote on her FaceBook page.

To mark the completion of three years in office, the Government of West Bengal will confer the State’s highest civilian awards – Bangabibhusan and Bangabhusan to 33 individuals for outstanding contribution in respective fields on Tuesday.
