: A large number of residents of licensed colonies gathered outside the Mini-Secretariat here on Monday and staged a demonstration seeking immediate redressal of the water and power crisis plaguing the areas.

The demonstrators, including women and children, held placards and raised slogans against the developers, district administration and the Haryana government. “There is a non-availability of basic necessities such as water and power. Even the elected representatives do not bother to listen to our grievances,” said Sunil Goswami, a resident of DLF Phase-I. Shweta Bahal, another DLF Phase-I resident, said: “What happened to BJP’s promise of ‘acche din’?”
