Kolkata-Mumbai Jet flight makes emergency landing in Nagpur

A Mumbai-bound Jet Airways flight made an unscheduled landing in Nagpur on Monday after a woman passenger suffered a medical emergency, airport officials said.

The Kolkata-Mumbai flight made the emergency landing at 10.45 am here at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport when Nandita Sinha (59) developed some serious health problem, Airport Director A.K. Varma told PTI.

She was rushed to a local private hospital and has been admitted there.

The flight resumed its journey half-hour later, he added.
