K.K. Paul sworn in as Governor

Krishan Kant Paul was sworn in as the sixth Governor of Uttarakhand on Thursday. Justice V.K. Bisht of the Uttarakhand High Court administered the oath of office to Dr. Paul at the Raj Bhavan here.

In his address, Dr. Paul said the State had a vast scope for development. “Its forests, water resources, minerals and conducive environment, along with the calibre of the people, can be utilised to lead the State towards being more knowledgeable, and one with an improved economy,” he said.
