Delhi Chief Minister and national convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal will be in Goa by month-end to launch the party's 'Goa Dialogues' in the State as a preparatory exercise to draw AAP’s poll manifesto process for the March 2017 State Assembly elections.
Goa AAP spokesperson Rupesh Shinkre said here on Tuesday that Mr. Kejriwal is scheduled to visit Goa by end of this month. He had during his last visit promised party workers that he will visit Goa every month till the State Assembly elections.
Like the 'Delhi Dialogues' which was launched there before the State assembly polls in 2014, 'Goa Dialogues' is a similar process, where a party manifesto will be drawn up using a bottoms-up approach based on interactions party leaders are expected to have with the general public, according to AAP.
During his Goa visit Mr. Kejriwal is expected to have a meeting with any of the significant segment of Goan population like fishermen, professionals, indicated sources in AAP.
The Goa AAP is presently in the process of drawing a list of issues which includes illegal mining, casino trade, rising prices of fish and other essential commodities, etc.
The party workers have been reaching out to people in all constituencies and interacting with people to get more issues which will be discussed by the Goa Dialogues committee headed by AAP national secretary Pankaj Gupta before being included in the manifesto.
