BJP leader and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said if Arvind Kejriwal should provide proof for the allegations of corruption against him within 15 days, or he would file a defamation suit against the Delhi Chief Minister.

Mr. Nishank, who was addressing a press conference, said, “For three years Kejriwal has been making me a subject of frequent allegations. If there is any substance in his allegations then why doesn’t he provide proof for any of the allegations?”

According to him, there is no case against him in any court in the country. “All the public interest litigations against me have been rejected by the concerned courts,” he said.

Mr. Nishank, in the past, had given two notices to Mr. Kejriwal asking him for an explanation for his statements. However, Mr. Kejriwal did not reply to any of the notices, Mr. Nishank said.
