A day after separatists cold shouldered the Centre’s dialogue offer, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called for a rethink.
“Some stakeholders take intransigent positions, but ultimately dialogue is the only way to resolve issues,” PDP general secretary Nizamudin-Din Bhat said on Wednesday. The statement was in an apparent reference to Hurriyat leaders who said on Tuesday that the “Centre’s dialogue offer was a ploy and an exercise to buy time.”
