J&K Highway closed due to landslide

The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was closed for traffic on Friday due to landslide triggered by heavy rains in Ramban district.

Over 300 vehicles have been stranded at various points of the highway due to the closure.

The highway has been closed due to the landslide at Panthal, 165 kms from here, police said.

There were also incidents of shooting of stones from mountain tops forcing suspension of traffic.
