The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council secretariat on Saturday issued fresh summons to the former Army chief Gen. (retd.) V.K. Singh, seeking his personal appearance before a House committee on January 22. Gen. Singh would have to clarify his position with regard to his purported interview to a television news channel on September 23.
According to the complainants Gen. Singh had committed breach of privilege of the House.
