Jashodaben visits Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben offered prayers at the famous Mahakaleshwar temple here this afternoon.

“Jashodaben visited the temple around 1 p.m. and took darshan of Lord Shiva,” a senior police officer said.

She spent a little over ten minutes at the temple, which is one of the twelve jyotirlingas (divine object) and left after taking darshan .

On Friday, Jashodaben had visited the Saibaba temple at Shirdi in Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra as well as the pilgrimage town of Trimbakeshwar in Nashik district and offered prayers at Lord Shiva temple there.
