Inspector suspended for beating up mentally challenged man

A town inspector has been suspended on the charges of beating up a youth who was mentally challenged.

Police sources said B.S. Jaggi’s suspension was ordered by Inspector General of Police Gajiram Meena.

Mr. Jaggi had reportedly roughed up the youth identified as Pappu Agrawal in front of the kotwali (police station). Following the incident, many organisations had taken up the matter with the IGP.
