The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has made it clear that the civic body has not given a clean chit to Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan and that the inquiry is still on.

Dr. Arun Bamne, executive health officer of BMC, said the civic body had asked certain questions about the actor's alleged act of determining the sex of his surrogate child.

The Jaslok Hospital has denied carrying out any such test. Activist Varsha Deshpande filed a complaint against the actor and his wife for allegedly violating the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Technique Act after a report in an English tabloid claimed that the couple was expecting their third child through surrogacy and it would be a baby boy.
