IIM Indore students injured

The stage at a pre convocation ceremony collapsed at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore on Saturday when students climbed on it to pose for pictures.

Around 20 students were admitted to two private hospitals with fractures and sprains.

IIM staff prevented TV crews from filming the sight of the collapse and security men got into scuffles with videojournalists while attempting to seize cameras.

None of the injured is serious.
