Haryana CM’s chopper makes unscheduled landing

A chopper ferrying Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda from New Delhi to Punjab was on Wednesday forced to make an unscheduled landing here due to inclement weather.

The Chief Minister, his political advisor Virender Singh who was accompanying him and the helicopter crew were safe, Superintendent of Police of Hisar Navdeep Singh Virk said.

Mr. Hooda and Mr. Singh were on their way to Muktsar when the chopper had to make an “unscheduled landing” due to “bad weather” at Hisar, 160 km from Delhi, the SP said.
