The Gujarat government on Wednesday reinstated suspended IPS officer G.L. Singhal, associated with the ‘Snoopgate’ scandal and an accused in the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case.
“His suspension was not extended and he has got unconditional bail,” S.K. Nanda, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, told The Hindu .
