Gorakhpur doctor Kafeel Khan seeks his job back

Out on bail after spending seven months in jail in connection with the deaths of 30 infants at the BRD Hospital in Gorakhpur, Dr. Kafeel Khan on Saturday applied for the restoration of his job. He was serving as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics when he was suspended on August 22, 2017, days after the tragedy.

On Saturday, Dr. Khan wrote to the principal of the college requesting the revocation of his suspension order.
