Two local leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) accused the State and Central leadership on Wednesday of not being transparent in the collection of donations for the Goa Assembly polls held in February.

Milind Gauns and Sainath Patekar, who faced defeat in the polls in Sanquelim and Bicholim constituencies respectively, also questioned the “non-clearance by the AAP of bills of expenditure incurred by candidates during elections”.

The duo alleged that despite repeated reminders and requests, party leaders have not been able to provide proper accounting of donations and expenditure incurred for the polls.
