GJM plans to intensify agitation

The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha plans to step up its agitation for Gorkhaland. It has started relay hunger strikes and is extending the hours of road blockade launched on December 26, as part of the plans to resume its agitation suspended ahead of the December 21 tripartite talks. “We want the government to initiate steps to help us reach our goal,” Keshav Raj Pokhrel, general secretary of the Gorkha Janmukti Vidyarthi Morcha, said.
