Get free petrol for sticking to traffic rules

A police station in Ahmedabad city has launched a unique initiative to encourage people to follow traffic rules. Since Thursday the police have been distributing free coupons for one-litre petrol to two-wheeler riders wearing safety gear and having up-to-date paper work.

“We started this initiative as a motivational step to make people law abiding citizens,” inspector PI Solanki from Ramol police station told The Hindu .
