A 20-year-old girl from La Rochelle in France was killed when a pillar fell on her while playing in the swing on Thursday evening.
The victim, Estelle Agnes Josephine, was playing in the swing on the terrace of a house at Rainbow Nagar along with her friend.
The girl came to Puducherry on April 28 along with three others for voluntary service, Superintendent of Police (North) N. T Sivadasan said. The four was working with a NGO as part of their MBA programme, he added.
