Protest delays second list of AAP candidates

The former BJP MP, Rajan Sushant, from Kangra, who had quit the party after he was suspended for raising corruption issues against the then Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, on Saturday joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

"I am not here because of any AAP wave, but because I believe that if anyone can free the country of corruption, it is the AAP," Mr. Sushant said.

Bhojpuri film and television actress Reena Rani from Siwan in Bihar also joined the party in the presence of AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia and Ashutosh.
