Five Naxalites arrested

Five Naxalites hailing from Jharkhand were arrested in the Lanka area here on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested the five against whom several cases were pending in Bihar and Jharkhand, Superintendent of Police (City) Vijay Bhushan said.

Nagendra Singh Yadav, Kamlesh Majhi and Rakesh Gupta of Palamau and Mahendra Prajapati and Ajit Kumar Singh of Latehar were involved in Naxal propaganda.
