The fifth accused in the July 31 Shakti Mills compound gang rape case was arrested on Saturday evening at Girgaon Chowpatty in South Mumbai.

Four accused, including two juveniles, have already been arrested for the rape of a call centre employee.

The crime came to light after the gang rape of a photojournalist on the same premises. Three accused are common in both cases.

The Mumbai police said the gang of rapists had abused three women in the past six months before raping the 22-year-old photojournalist.
